???Each scripture in the Good Book speaks to each heart differently. One person might see something, but the other person sees something else. Let's tear this one appart....what do you see in this Parable? Or are ya too scared of it? Sound off homies and hometz.....
Matthew 25 The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins 1 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. 6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ 7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming

I mean we know the general time, but not the exact time- a "day" or "hour" is considered more of an exact time than a general time. So we should be ready. It does, however say that the cry was made at midnight. The main scripture used for the rapture doctrine is 1st Thessalonians 4:16-18. Verse 16 has a "shout" which is similar to this "cry" and it seems like this denotes a announcement. And it also seems to say that there will be Christians who are not ready and are "left behind" so to speak. I believe when Jesus comes back he calls for an assembly of believers. Those who are not ready don't make the assembly and are too late, Jesus says "I don't know you" very scary. Well this scripture has a groom coming for His bride, to go off to a wedding. As much as I believe that we are raptured first from the tribulation it seems from the context that the virgins are taken away to a wedding. Now if the wedding of the Lamb is during the tribulation, then a pretrib rapture fits best. If it is way before, or after the tribulation then I don't think the pretrib scenario works.

God has warned his church 4 centuries to be ready but some of us will unfortunatly have to learn the hard way. Those who are sold out will go to the wedding supper of the Lamb. Its kind of like knowing u low on oil(gasoline) and think you can make it to the next station risking breaking down on the side of the road. The 1st day of the 7 year trib will start on the day of the rapture.Point is be right on the 1st go around
